Poems and rhymes are so important in developing language in little ones. This is a collection of our favorite traditional Spanish poems, all of which I had to learn after having kids! If you are a non-native Spanish speaker like me, it helps to learn poems like this to feel more natural and connected to culture.

Say them in the car, after a fall, when you see the moon– it doesn’t have to be anything formal to make them part of your family repertoire of rhymes.

Teachers can use these too– they are perfect for developing new sounds and learning new words. Click on the poems if would like to access them as free printables.
